The Email Inbox
The Task Inbox is essentially an email inbox that is attached to your Dashboard. The intended use is to stop emails that your clients are sending you from ending up in your personal email inbox (or any of your team members).
By giving them the email address that you set inside your settings, will create tasks inside your email inbox inside your Dashboard (or the website where your client’s email is assigned, more info on this here).
Getting Started
To get started, we first need to head to the settings inside your Dashboard.

From Name
First, we need to set the “From Name” that your emails will be sent from. If your clients are used to hearing from you personally, you could put your name here or your agency name!

Inbox Email Address
Next, let’s set which email we want all of them to be sent from. When replying to tasks, this is the email that will be used to send the replies to the creator of the email task.

Forwarding Address
Finally, we need to set up the “Forward Email Address”. This requires domain authentication. To find out more about how to set this up correctly, you can check out this knowledgebase article here.
We pick this forwarding address for you (the email address inside the field). The email address that you set as the inbox address previously will receive emails. Emails sent to your address will be forwarded to the forwarding address (lots of forwarding!), which will then land in your inbox.

Verifying Forwarding
Once you’ve followed all the steps, you are ready to verify your forwarding address by clicking this button.
You will receive an email to the inbox address you set up, this will let you know that you’re good to go!
