In this role, you will be responsible for:
- Editing high-quality videos: Craft polished YouTube videos that align with our brand voice and visual standards. Including: Talking Heads, Educational content, Shorts, Screensharing tutorials and podcasts.
- Adding creative elements: Integrate dynamic graphics, text overlays, transitions, sound effects, and background music to enhance the storytelling.
- Collaborating with the team: Work closely with content creators and producers to bring their vision to life.
- Optimizing for YouTube: Ensure videos are tailored for the platform, including the use of optimized thumbnails, end screens, and annotations.
- Maintaining consistency: Uphold a cohesive look and feel across all video content.
- Staying on trend: Monitor and incorporate the latest trends and best practices in video editing and YouTube content creation.
- Meeting deadlines: Deliver projects on time while maintaining a high standard of quality.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a video editor, with a strong portfolio of YouTube-focused work.
- Proficiency in video editing tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve.
- Proficiency in motion graphics tools (e.g., After Effects) is required.
- Familiarity with YouTube’s algorithms, SEO practices, and audience engagement strategies.
- Strong storytelling skills with a keen eye for detail and pacing.
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Tech-savvy and quick to learn new tools and software.
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
- Basic knowledge of color grading, sound design, and thumbnail creation.
