JetBackup MCP
The Atarim MCP lets an AI assistant run JetBackup on your client sites: take a restore point before it changes anything, run a backup, and restore a whole site or just the files and tables that need it. Restores always wait for a person to approve them.

What it does in JetBackup.
Taken from JetBackup's own actions in the Atarim MCP.
- Sets a restore point before work starts, and checks what a rollback would actually recover.
- Runs a backup now, or sets up backup jobs, schedules and where backups are stored.
- Restores a whole site, or only chosen folders or database tables.
- Locks a backup so the retention clean-up keeps it.
- Checks what is running, reads the logs and shows alerts.
Ask for it in plain words.
The way back.
JetBackup is the biggest of Atarim’s four ways back: a full backup before anything big, restorable even after a fatal error while the backup is fresh.
How the four ways back workElement
The original is kept. One click puts it back.
Page
Version control on every page.
Plugin
The working version is kept before an update.
Site
A full JetBackup backup before anything big.
Honest limit: It needs JetBackup installed on the site. Restores and deletions always need a person’s okay.
Set it up in three steps.
Copy your server address.
In Atarim, open Settings, then Connected Apps, then Atarim MCP. Or copy it from the top of this page.
Add it to your assistant.
Paste it into Claude, ChatGPT, Codex or any assistant that supports MCP.
Sign in to allow it.
Your assistant can only reach what your own Atarim account can reach.
For JetBackup: JetBackup needs to be installed and active on the client site.
Questions agencies ask.
Do I need a JetBackup licence?
No. The free JetBackup plugin from the WordPress.org directory is enough to get started.
Can it restore just one table?
Yes. It can restore a whole site, or only chosen folders or database tables. Restores always wait for a person to approve them.
What happens if a restore fails?
The restore shows as failed in the JetBackup queue, with its log. The assistant can read the log, tell you what went wrong and, with your okay, start the restore again.
Does it work on every host?
It works on any host that runs WordPress, because JetBackup runs as a plugin inside the site. Where a host has no server cron, the assistant can move the backup queue along itself.
Your agency, inside every tool your clients run.
Atarim is the work of a whole agency, plugged into yours, working in the tools your client sites already run on, with a way back on every change.
