Cloudways MCP
The Atarim MCP lets Claude, ChatGPT or Codex work in your Cloudways account: servers and apps, staging, SSL, backups and security. Every change on the server waits for a person to approve it.

What it does in Cloudways.
Taken from Cloudways's own actions in the Atarim MCP.
- Looks after servers and applications, including staging copies and clones.
- Restarts services, and checks monitoring and analytics.
- Sets up SSL certificates and DNS.
- Manages SSH and SFTP access.
- Runs and checks backups.
- Scans for malware and manages firewall rules.
Ask for it in plain words.
The way back.
Every change on Cloudways waits for a person to approve it. Backups can be taken there first, and a full backup through JetBackup is taken before anything big on the WordPress site.
How the four ways back workElement
The original is kept. One click puts it back.
Page
Version control on every page.
Plugin
The working version is kept before an update.
Site
A full JetBackup backup before anything big.
Honest limit: It needs your Cloudways account connected to your Atarim workspace, and it works on what that account can reach.
Set it up in three steps.
Copy your server address.
In Atarim, open Settings, then Connected Apps, then Atarim MCP. Or copy it from the top of this page.
Add it to your assistant.
Paste it into Claude, ChatGPT, Codex or any assistant that supports MCP.
Sign in to allow it.
Your assistant can only reach what your own Atarim account can reach.
Questions agencies ask.
Can it change things without asking?
No. Anything that changes Cloudways waits for a person to approve it. Reading and checking run straight away.
Can it make a staging site?
Yes. It can create staging copies and clone applications, so work can be checked before it goes live.
Do my clients need to do anything?
No. Your clients do not log in, install anything or change how they work. Everything happens under your brand.
Your agency, inside every tool your clients run.
Atarim is the work of a whole agency, plugged into yours, working in the tools your client sites already run on, with a way back on every change.
