ShortPixel MCP
The Atarim MCP lets an AI assistant run ShortPixel on your client sites: compress images, make WebP copies, and write alt text and captions with ShortPixel AI. Any image can go back to its original.

What it does in ShortPixel.
Taken from ShortPixel's own actions in the Atarim MCP.
- Compresses chosen images, or every image not yet done.
- Shows how much each image saved and what is still waiting.
- Writes alt text, captions and titles with ShortPixel AI, and undoes them if you want.
- Changes compression level, WebP and AVIF copies, resizing and other settings.
- Puts any image back to its original from ShortPixel’s backup.
- Checks the account’s credits before a big job.
Ask for it in plain words.
The way back.
ShortPixel keeps a backup of every original image, so any image can go back to how it was, and AI alt text can be undone. A full backup through JetBackup is taken before anything big.
How the four ways back workElement
The original is kept. One click puts it back.
Page
Version control on every page.
Plugin
The working version is kept before an update.
Site
A full JetBackup backup before anything big.
Honest limit: Original images can only be put back if backups are turned on in ShortPixel’s settings.
Set it up in three steps.
Copy your server address.
In Atarim, open Settings, then Connected Apps, then Atarim MCP. Or copy it from the top of this page.
Add it to your assistant.
Paste it into Claude, ChatGPT, Codex or any assistant that supports MCP.
Sign in to allow it.
Your assistant can only reach what your own Atarim account can reach.
For ShortPixel: ShortPixel needs to be installed and active on the client site.
Questions agencies ask.
Does it use ShortPixel credits?
Yes. Compressing images uses your ShortPixel credits, and AI alt text uses AI credits. The assistant can check what is left before it starts.
Can it undo AI alt text?
Yes. AI alt text, captions and titles can go back to what they were before, for one image or for all of them.
Do my clients need to do anything?
No. Your clients do not log in, install anything or change how they work. Everything happens under your brand.
Your agency, inside every tool your clients run.
Atarim is the work of a whole agency, plugged into yours, working in the tools your client sites already run on, with a way back on every change.
