Connect Rocket.net

  • In Atarim, go to Settings.
  • Under Connected Apps, select Integrations.
  • Find Rocket in the list and switch its toggle on.
  • Select the connect button. A sign-in modal opens asking for your Rocket.net credentials.
  • Enter your Email and Password — the fields prompt for your Rocket email address and Rocket password.
  • Submit to connect. Atarim connects to your Rocket.net account and the hosting options become available.

    Unlike Jira, Asana or Trello, which use an authorisation screen on the other platform, Rocket.net asks for your email and password inside Atarim. Only enter them on the Atarim settings screen itself, never from a link someone sends you.

    Rather than a personal login. The connection outlives whoever set it up, and a shared account avoids the integration breaking when someone leaves or changes their password.

    Where your plan does not include native integrations the option is locked and names the minimum plan required, and only the workspace owner can change the subscription.     Create a Staging Environment

    Once connected, a new button appears on the Websites screen.

  • Go to the Websites screen in your dashboard.
  • Select Create Site. A pop-up opens for creating a staging environment on Rocket.net.
  • Enter a Site Name / Label. This name is used in your Atarim dashboard and as the label in your Rocket.net dashboard.
  • Choose a Select Location for where the environment is hosted.
  • Set the Administrator Username, Administrator Password and Administrator Email for the WordPress admin account. The username and password are pre-filled with your dashboard credentials.
  • Decide how the site joins Atarim using the Add site to Atarim using URL switch. Leave it on to add the site by URL; switch it off to have the Atarim plugin installed instead. Then select Create Site.

    It is a one-time decision at creation and it affects how the staging site performs during review — a slow staging site makes the work look worse than it is.
    Give it a moment
    Staging environments take a few seconds to create on Rocket.net’s side. If a button seems unresponsive, wait rather than clicking again — repeated clicks are how you end up with duplicate sites.

  • Leave Add site to Atarim using URL switched on when creating the site. A confirmation appears once the website has been created.
  • Select Manage Site to open the Rocket.net settings for that environment.

    Adding via Plugin

  • Switch Add site to Atarim using URL off in the creation pop-up, so the plugin is installed instead. A confirmation appears once the site is created — again, allow a few seconds.
  • Select Activate Plugin. You are taken to the WordPress admin login for the new site.
  • Sign in with the account you set up in the create-site pop-up. The Atarim activation wizard opens.
  • Select I already have an account (Login). Atarim signs you in from your dashboard and starts activation.
  • Select Activate, then work through the remaining wizard steps. Once complete, the new website appears on your dashboard.

    You will need them at the activation step, and the pre-filled username and password are your dashboard ones rather than something Rocket.net generates.

    Manage Hosting Settings from Atarim

    Where a website exists on both Rocket.net and your Atarim dashboard, the hosting settings become available from the Websites screen. Select Manage Site and the Rocket.net settings for that website open in a pop-up.

    Matching is done on the URL
    The two platforms are paired by address, so a site reached by a different URL in one place will not match. If hosting settings do not appear for a site you know is on Rocket.net, check the addresses agree.

    The integration panel includes a link to Rocket.net, described in Atarim as the best WordPress hosting the team has used. Atarim states plainly that it is an affiliate link: you will not pay any extra for using it, but Atarim is rewarded if you sign up through it.

    What if I disconnect by accident?

    Reconnect through Settings → Integrations. Sites you have already created stay intact.

    Does deleting a site in Atarim delete the hosting?

    No. It removes the site from your Atarim dashboard, but the hosting instance stays on Rocket.net until you delete it there.

    What happens if I change my Rocket.net password?

    The connection stops working until you reconnect with the new credentials.

    Common issues

    • The connection is rejected — check the email and password are the ones you use to sign in at Rocket.net, and that the account is active.
    • The connection stopped working — the Rocket.net password may have changed. Reconnect with the current credentials.
    • The Rocket option is locked — your plan does not include native integrations. The lock names the minimum plan required.
    • Integrations is not in your settings sidebar — your role does not have access. Ask an Administrator.
    • You expected tasks to sync — they will not. This integration manages hosting. Use a project tool integration for task syncing.
    • The staging site was not created — wait a few seconds and retry. Rocket.net can take a moment to respond.
    • Hosting settings do not appear for a site — the URLs must match on both platforms. Check the addresses agree.
    • A staging site has no collaboration — confirm it was created through the integration; environments made that way include the plugin.
